| Tom Ray Broadcast Consulting
is run by Tom Ray, former Chief Engineer of WOR Radio in New
York City and Director of Engineering of Buckley Broadcasting.
Tom has considerable experience in AM & FM
broadcast facilities maintenance and construction, as well as
studio maintenance and construction. Tom was in on the
ground floor of HD Radio - WOR was the first full time high
power AM HD Radio station in the world. He also built the
first large scale Axia digital studio facility in the United
States. He has presented numerous papers at the National
Association of Broadcasters convention in Las Vegas, sits on
several NAB committes, is past Chairman of The Society of
Broadcast Engineers Chapter 15 in New York City, and is Chairman
of the New York City Local Emergency Communications Committee.
He has authored a book on HD Radio
implementation, available from Focal Press.
